Brunei Sungkai 2018: Rack and Brew Cafe
When Rack and Brew; Brunei's first boutique lifestyle cafe opened - it was a big hit thanks to their cosy hip ambience, a good range of beautifully presented tasty food, creative cakes and of course good coffee! After last year’s Ramadhan where their Sungkai buffet attracted and wowed huge crowds ~~ this will be the 3rd year for their Sungkai Buffet! I was one of the invited guests to have check out their Sungkai buffet - note that I'm already a big fan of their desserts and food especially their kolomee and beef ribs - I was pretty excited and wondered what's in store!
The ambience at Rack and Brew ~~ dreamy lighting ~~ romantic feel to it ~~

First off ~ let’s begin with their appetizers menu ~~ they have hummus and vegetables platter ~~

Asinan, a type of Indonesian style pickled salad ~~ pretty interesting!

Gado Gado Rack and Brew Style ~~ I like how they wrapped the veggies together so it’s easier to eat and just drizzle the peanut sauce on ~~~ talk about paying attention to the diners needs!

Moving on to main course – this Mediterranean style rice is pretty good ~~

Satays ~ enjoyed with their thick peanut sauce! YUM!

The ribs are now sliced into smaller pieces so it’s easier to take – and no pressure to finish one whole big piece!~~ ooo I love to watch them drizzle the gravy all over the ribs!!

Of course – there’s all the kolomee you can eat ~~~ Mmmmm ~~~ I could easily eat three bowls of these!

I arrived early to see this beautiful roast beef ~~
and the gorgeous leg of lamb and stuffed boneless chicken ~~ ready to be sliced ~~

The Rack and Brew Sungkai buffet is usually very popular and it is always advisable to call and reserve your tables as early as possible.
