Brunei Restaurants: Yugo Dessert Cafe
Yugo Desserts Cafe recently opened at the new hip area of Setia Kenangan in Kiulap - with its cozy ambience and full range of Asian-Western desserts.
The cafe has two sections - the cozy lounging sofas section for you to chill with your friends while having desserts and sandwiches
They have a seating area for those who prefer to have proper tables while enjoying their food
You order and pay at the counter - with their menus on huge display
They will give this to you while you wait for your order - once it vibrates and buzz ~~ your desserts are ready!
I brought along Karen Then since she absolutely loves desserts (to be fair -- I think most ladies love them!)
While you might think that Yugo desserts only serves desserts -- they actually serve a variety of panini sandwiches such as this Chicken Pesto Panini Sandwich.
Pretty good stuff! If you want to have something savoury while your friends have dessert - their range of panini sandwiches should satisfy your hunger
Fancy some smoked salmon with cream cheese sandwich? Yum! #lovepanini
The Shibuya Honey Toast is something I've tried in Thailand and Hong Kong but it's a treat to finally see it appear in Brunei! Yugo's Shibuya Honey Toast ranked highly amongst the desserts we tried in Brunei. A lovely crusty bread served with honey and ice cream ~ simple sweet ~~ and downrigh gorgeous! Highly recommended!
So beautiful ~~ you absolutely must Instagram it and tag @yugodessert #dessertporn
Fellow Brunei Foodie Marul certainly loves the Shibuya Honey Toast ~~ hey ~~ save some for me!
While Marul was busy with the Honey Toast - I caught a glimpse of this beauty! Homaigawd!! Nutella Banana toast! #dessertporn #Ilovenutella!
Seriously ~~ who can say no to such a ooozing chocolate lava cakey goodness?
When it comes to desserts -- one simply cannot leave out waffles! We tried out the mixed fruit waffles ~~ *swoons* beautiful!
I must say I super love this one -- because I LOVE LOVE LOVE Peanut Butter!! The Peanut Butter and Banana one won us over and we were actually fighting over it ~~
Shut up and eat all the waffles!!!
The iced flakes desserts are signatures of Yugo Dessert ~~ very pretty to look at ~~ and of course ~~~ yummy to enjoy!
Oh my mango ice flakes!! *DROOLS* MANGO MANGO MANGO!
Strawberries Ice Flakes in da house ~~~ *drools*
Chocolate Ice flakes certainly looks divine ~~ *gulp*
The mixed fruits one is pretty refreshing if you want to have a good mix of fruits ~~
My fav is the coconut one ~~ which comes with delicious jelly ~~ but some prefer the mango ~~~ I guess desserts are up to your preferences ~~
If you are a fan of Taiwanese style desserts ~~ such as a good mix of yam or sweet potato balls, with red bean and jellies ~~ you are bound to love their selections of Taiwanese shaved ice desserts and hot soupy desserts ~~
Things foodies do ~~~ snap pictures of beautiful desserts like these ~~ #foodieblogger #taiwansedessert
Ahhhh~~~ gotta love these yam and sweet potato balls ~~ nom nom ~~~
Of course ~~ when you are having dessert ~~ a good cup of coffee and tea will make your dessert even better!
A cappucino to pair with the lovely Shibuya Toast or Waffles? Yum yum ~~
Or a drink that can be a dessert on its own! The chocolate ice blended is simply a rich rich indulgence!
Red bean lovers will enjoy the red bean smoothie! Oooo topped with extra red beans on top! Yum! *note - they have Yam smoothies too but they were out when we visited! So Yam Lovers rejoice*
Full house at Yugo Desserts!
Girls sharing desserts ~ spotted the Honey Shibuya Toast ~~ good choice!
Who says desserts are ladies best friends? Men love desserts as well ~~ noticed they mostly ordered rich chocolate lava cakes!! AHA!
Yugo Dessert Cafe is located at the Setia Kenangan Area in Kiulap -- opposite Pepper Lunch!
