SugarBun opens Seria Branch

SugarBun Brunei officially opens their new Seria Branch on Sunday 14th June at Seria Town, a prime central location to cater to the customers in the Belait district. Sugarbun has been in Brunei since 1988 and has now opened 7 outlets in Brunei. It’s my pleasure to cover the grand opening of this special moment for Sugarbun Brunei.

 

The Seria branch will be able to seat approximately 80 customers ~~ spacious comfortable seatings.

 

They have different seating areas and I’m loving the casual hip café style seats near the door ~~

Ms. Chan Fui Meng, the company owner says; “Our mission is to uphold our QSCV (Quality, Service & Value for Money). As well as providing more job opportunities for our locals in which 80% are currently employed. In addition we have employed five staffs from APTK (Agensi Pekerjaan Tempatan dan Pembangunan Tenaga Kerja)”.

 

Guest of honour, Yang Berhormat Tuan Haji Harris bin Haji Othman, Belait District Officer was there to give a speech and to join in the ribbon cutting ceremony.

So what are some of your SugaruBun favourites? SugarBun might be famous for their specially Broasted Chicken but they have quite a lot of other great dishes to enjoy with family and friends! Let’s have a look shall we?

 

But first – a picture of their delicious Broasted Chicken ~~~ *drools*

 

Besides Broasted Chicken, SugarBun also recently introduced their healthier roasted chicken, that is served either with black pepper sauce or mushroom sauce! You can order it with their yummy spaghetti to have a complete meal!

 

Their famous fish fillet that is served with their signature sauce – a secret recipe that makes their fish fillet sandwiches taste sooo good!

 

I personally want to have both chicken and fish fillets – so this is one of my most often ordered set at SugarBun – call this SugarBun’s surf and turf! Combination of land and sea on a plate!

 

Another one of the popular dishes is their Kano meals! My friends have been recommending me to try them but I’ve always ordered the fish and chicken combo so often. One day I decided to try this and I must say I realized I’ve been missing out! The broasted chicken is served with a spicy sweet sauce, and served with their fragrant rice and acar. You simply must try this! Highly recommended!

 

SugarBun also have quite a good selection of claypot dishes so if you have family members who prefer something more homey – you can check these out. They have heartwarming dishes such as this gorgeous mushroom chicken soup!

 

I am personally quite fond of their claypot beef stew ~~ tender delicious chunks of beef! The flavoursome gravy is just begging to be splattered on some rice! Yes please!
