Brunei Sungkai 2017: Gerai Ramadhan Gadong Bonus Edition
While the Gerai Ramadhan Stadium is the main one in Brunei to buy yummy food for Sungkai, there are actually quite a number of other stalls serving different mukims of Brunei. Today I’m going to check out another famous Gerai which is within walking distance from the Mall and very accessible by tourists ~~ in fact I seen quite a number of tourists while covering Gerai Ramadhan Gadong. There are many advantages of coming to this one – you won’t be worried about rain – way more parking space – and quite a few stalls only unique to this gerai!
I was quite excited to test out my brand new Huawei P10 Plus - The first camera to have Leica Dual Summilux Lens F1.8 aperture and also Leica Front Camera Lens! The P10 Plus is touted as the ideal phone for your social media posts. For this post, I did not bring out my usual Fujifilm XT-10 and instead will use only the P10 Plus to shoot the pictures. The results very pretty good and this has the advantage of being discreet and way lighter than my Fuji. This would be a good post to share since quite a lot of my readers have expressed interest in the camera functions of this phone.
The first stall of the day right at one of the entrances – Stall A10 looks promising already! Gotta love the monochrome shot of the Huawei P10 Plus! Gives it such a nostalgic factor.

At stall number A12 – I bumped into some good old foodies from Temburong – glad to see them come all the way from Temburong to showcase their famous Udang Galah Burger!! Sorry Gerai Ramadhan Stadium ~~ you don’t have Udang Galah Burger ~~ hahaha~~
The burger pattie is made from Udang Galah (river prawns) and the toppings and sauce are from the delicious prawn head fillings *DROOLS* ONE BITE and you will feel an explosive prawn flavour in your mouth!
The owner also tells me that their burger ikan is made from Ikan Selonsong ~~ so be sure to give them a try~~

Battery life was pretty good – despite taking more than 450 shots – the battery drain wasn’t much and probably consumed around only 55 percent of my battery when I finished. Thank you for reading and I hope you will pay this gerai a visit!
