Brunei Sungkai 2017: Sungkai Dinner Rivercruise
Last year one of the popular Sungkai dinners were the Brunei River Cruise Sungkai Dinner, which is a 2 hour cruise along the Brunei River, enjoying the sunset and having sungkai dinner on board the cruise ship.
“Throughout the year, we have received many enquiries regarding a dinner cruise. However, dinner cruise can only be arranged for a private event or with a minimum number required. We are very happy that this Ramadhan we are able to cater for individual customers and we hope that everyone will enjoy this beautiful and unique way of breaking the fast.” said Daniel Hilman Sii, Operations Manager of Brunei River Cruise.
This year they are proud to have Royal Brunei Catering as their official caterer. They will be serving popular local dishes and desserts throughout the month of Ramadhan. This Ramadhan Sungkai Dinner Cruise will officially start on the 30th May 2017 to 24th June 2017.
Bookings are essential and tickets have to be purchased before cruise date. Payments can be made online or at the jetty and tickets collection can be done at Queen Elizabeth Jetty and selected RBC outlets.
Guests are expected to arrive at 5pm for registration and the cruise will start punctually at 5.30pm from Queen Elizabeth Jetty.
MV Sentosa will cruise along the Brunei River as the sun sets. You will get a very good view of the Brunei River
Guest will be free to move around and enjoy the sights while waiting to break the fast.
The cruise will end at the jetty at 7.30pm. Prayer area will be provided onboard the cruise and at the jetty.

I have to say the cruise has so many great Instagrammable shots ~~
Looking great Gzul!
One advise I would give is to dress up for the occasion and make full use of the beautiful scenery ~~
The view is especially beautiful if the weather is good!
It would be great if you bring your Instagram Boyfriend/Husband/Friendzoned-Friend to be there to help you take all your OOTDs ~~~ so you can insert your inspirational quote of the day with the majestic Brunei River view ~~~
Be daring ~~ be bold ~~ be flamboyant ~~ and be patient when you got photobombed by others ~~ hahaha
With the quality of cameras on handphones ~~ you can also capture the beauty of sunset along Brunei River Cruise ~~
Everyone’s excited to take pictures ~~~
As we got professional videographers on board – they even brought their drone ~~ can you spot the drone over the majestic bridge?
Can’t wait for this bridge to finally open!
As you can see – even when its dark ~~ the photo taking hasn’t stopped! LOL ~~~
A big pose before we all went in to enjoy the buffet spread!
But first ~~ let me upload to my Instagram and Facebook first ~~ food comes later ~ LOL~
They have coffee and tea as well as bottled water and bandung for refreshments.
As mentioned previously, Royal Brunei Catering is their official caterer and they will be serving popular local dishes and desserts
The buffet line is separated into two floors (same food for both floors) ~~ and the menu will be rotated daily ~~
As always – yummy dates to start your sungkai ~~
